About Us
Hippies and Ravins was born from a boy with a lifelong love for hippies and the culture surrounding it. Growing up in the Bay area, and then moving to the Pacific Northwest. It has been my dream since I was a little boy to own a shop that could sell things in festivals, fairs and by the river or lake. It wasn't until later in life when I met the woman who introduced me to the rave scene that I would realize how to implement my dream. She put the Ravin into the “Hippies and Ravins” name combination. Her love for raves, making Kandi for the shows, and the energy surrounding them that helped spark the flame for the inspiration to drive the childhood dream. Combining my love of art and her love of jewelry and raves. We decided to make something unique. Our pieces aim to be beautiful both in basic everyday wear, as well as dancing nights away by the river, beach or in your favorite show. We are proud to say that our art is hand drawn, and we use hypoallergenic high quality surgical stainless steel to protect against allergies and fading.
