About Us
Hippies and Ravins was born from a boy with a lifelong love for hippies and the culture surrounding them. Growing up in the Bay Area and then moving to the Pacific Northwest, I dreamed from the time I was a little boy of owning a shop that could sell things at festivals, fairs, and by the river or lake.
It wasn’t until later in life, when I met the woman who introduced me to the rave scene, that I realized how to bring my dream to life. She put the “Ravin” into the “Hippies and Ravins” name. Her love for raves, making Kandi for the shows, and the energy surrounding them helped spark the flame that would drive my childhood dream.
Combining my love of art with her love of jewelry and raves, we decided to make something unique. Our pieces aim to be beautiful both for everyday wear and for dancing nights away by the river, on the beach, or at your favorite show.
We are proud to say that our art is hand drawn, and we use hypoallergenic, high-quality surgical stainless steel to protect against allergies and fading. Our gemstones are all natural, and each piece is handmade.
